Supervision, more that just another weekly meeting…
Jacquelyn Broadus, LLC offers qualified supervision for registered interns working towards Florida licensure as mental health counselors or marriage and family therapists. Jacqui enjoys passing on clinical wisdom to the next generation of therapists. The supervision relationship is unique and incorporates more than just a weekly meeting for a check-in. Case conceptualization, the licensing process, modality skills, ethics, diversity, documentation, problem-solving, professional exploration, resource gathering, and self-reflection are all aspects of supervision. Due to the time and responsibility invested in this dynamic, it is very important that the pairing of the professionals be a good match. Individual and group supervision are available options.

Consultation Services
Clinical consultation is a process that occurs between two mental health professionals, where the consultee seeks clinical direction, insight, and/or assistance regarding a particular situation, problem, or case conceptualization from a consultant. Consultation provides an environment of growth for a therapist to refine clinical skills for particular cases and situations. Consultation can be a mixture of case review, collaborative problem solving, documentation review, and colleague support. Consultation is not supervision as the consultant is not responsible for licensing requirements and is not legally liable for consultee’s actions. Even though consultation is never intended to be a personal counseling session, bringing personal issues that affect your ability to effectively work with your clients is encouraged. While walking together through the consultation process, my desire is for you to expand your clinical confidence, therapeutic impact, and self-awareness.
